Once the bag is filled, simply hold the top part of the bag closed and place it under a heat sealer: heat seal each bag just above the zipper and tamper proof tab. The Bosch degassing valve allows the excess CO2, released by your fresh coffee, to escape the bag and stops oxygen from entering back into the bag.
